Fire training was conducted on the territory of the oil product transshipment terminal of OJSC "Ust-Luga Oil" on the 16th of May 2014.

The main goal of the training was development of methods and ways of personnel protection at occurrence of emergency situations.

According to the legend, simulated burning occurred in the ventilation chamber on the 3rd floor of the administrative building. In 2 minutes after location of simulated place of burning and fire alarm activation, the Terminal security group made available access for special vehicles, in 3 minutes evacuation of 68 people from the administrative building was completed, guards on duty arrived to the place of burning from the 75th Fire Brigade. Employment of rescue services was effected within 10 minutes, simulated burning was brought under control within 15 minutes.

The site training was organized in according with requirements of the item 12 of the "Rules of fire prevention regime in the Russian federation". In the course of the training methods and skills were mastered for people evacuation and interaction during fire extinguishing. The training showed a high readiness of all services and departments of OJSC "Ust-Luga Oil" Terminal to operation in conditions of an emergency.
