
OJSC "ROSNEFTBUNKER" IS COMMISSIONNING THE BERTH NO.3
The first tanker loading has been completed at the berth No. 3 of OJSC "Rosneftbunker" terminal. Tanker Elka Apollon with the deadweight of 100 thousand tons moored to the berth No.3 on the 27/08/2013. Loading of 25 thousand tons of stable gas condensate (SGC) was successfully completed on the 28/08/2013, afterwards the tanker moored to the berth of LLC "NOVATEK-Ust-Luga" for extra loading with naphtha.
Processing of black oil products has been performed at OJSC "Rosneftbunker" terminal since 2011, of light oil products – since May 2013; first lot of SGC was supplied in May 20133 with it further delivery to the SGC Fractioning and Transshipment Complex of LLC "NOVATEK-Ust-Luga".
According to Konstantin Khamlai, Director General of OJSC "Rosneftbunker", berth No.3 start-up went in accordance with the plan, all systems operated normally. "This is a milestone event for us. Berth No. 3 – is an outstanding facility of such type in Russia as it had been designed for receiving tankers with the deadweight of 300 thousand tons. Having commissioned the berth No.3, we have completed construction and started operation of all berths of OJSC "Rosneftbunker", now the Bulk Cargo Terminal at the Commercial Seaport of Ust-Luga is ready for loading of oil products onto 3 vessels simultaneously".
Total volume of transshipment via the "Rosneftbunker" Terminal has exceeded 10 mln tons.
